Membership

Membership:

The League consists of Regular Members (those who have served honorably under the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor) and Associate Members. Membership includes active-duty, Reserve, and retired Marines, as well as Navy FMF Corpsmen and Chaplains who have served for 90 days or more. The Marine Corps League consists of approximately 1,100 to 1,200 local detachments across the United States and overseas.

Meetings: 1st Saturday of every month at 11:00 A.M., with the exception of August, when there is no meeting.

Organization Breakdown:

Detachments: These are the local units where members gather.

Departments: They are grouped under 49 state-level departments.

The state-level entities oversee local detachments.

Divisions: The national structure includes ten (10) Divisions, each containing a number of Departments.

Community Involvement: League members are active in community service, organizing Marine Corps Birthday Balls, participating in programs like Toys for Tots, providing funeral honors, and supporting wounded warriors.
